An Open Letter To Aries For February 2022.
How are you keeping, my brave, courageous and long-suffering friend? A lot of water has passed under the bridge since I wrote last. But here we are again, metaphorically walking along the shoreline and dipping our toes into the sea just to test the temperature. Yes, planet Earth has gone around the Sun one more time, and here we find ourselves at the beginning of yet another year. A year – I'd quickly like to add – in which you have much to strive for and much to achieve. Yes, I think the future is looking good, and we have grounds to be very optimistic. I'm the first to admit I'm a bit of an optimist, but even having said that, I believe most Aries will have a lot to celebrate and be happy about in the coming months and years.
Many Aires are bubbling over with enthusiasm at the prospect of starting a new project or making new friends and casting aside restrictive circumstances or oppressive individuals. Everything is up for grabs, both emotionally, intellectually and materially. Planning ahead is great, but the time comes when you have just got to cast aside convention, pull on your hiking-boots, and head off in search of adventure. Centuries of silent observation have led astrologers to conclude that almost nothing can stop an Aries when they set their hearts on attaining a dream, or, beginning a new chapter in their life. Striving to be the best is almost second nature to most Aries. Take comfort from knowing that you are the author of your unfolding story. Once you get the bit between your teeth, no one can bring you to heal.
Mars and Jupiter combine their energies to spur on your efforts to bring financial success and fulfilment into your life. Your self-confidence will start to expand and make itself known. It will manifest in a multiplicity of ways. Even the most shy and hesitant Aries will find the emotional resources necessary to get their point across. In addition to this, Venus the planet of love and romance forms a delightful trine aspect to Uranus the Awakener. This might signal a radical and frank expression of bottled up emotions which have laid dormant for weeks, months, or even years. If you let rip, you'll do more than just clear the air; you'll metaphorically blow the roof off.
Don't forget that your average Aries is both decisive and daring. But they are also no one's fool. Aries is capable of reflection and patience when the circumstances demand a structured and purposeful response. To this end, a wise old Saturn – currently embracing the Sun – might restrain your emotional excesses and act as a counterbalance to the Mars/Uranus energies inflaming your lustful passions and determination to prove your uniqueness of purpose. Consequently, you may agree to labour away in obscurity, confident that your day will come in the very near future. Ultimately, no one will prevent you from overcoming the restrictions that hold you back. Nor will they stop you exploring your world of hidden desires. It's all potentially hot stuff. However, the degree to which your natal horoscope either inhibits or inflames the current planetary patterns will have a lot to do with how you react this week. When all is said and done, you want to do your own thing; but getting the timing right is essential. Please keep this in mind.
Mercury and Pluto energies encourage you to reconsider the implications of some long help opinion or belief. Some new factors might come to your attention – perhaps someone shares a secret with you – and you conclude it's time to think again. Venus stimulates compassion in many an Aries heart. Consequently, an old relationship might regain its warmth and passion. Moreover, you might walk down memory lane arm in arm with an old friend. Time heals many wounds. Old enmities are forgiven. And old enemies kiss and make up to the benefit of everyone concerned. Yes! I think the benign influence of an understanding Jupiter combined with the compassionate and self-sacrificing love of Neptune might leave fingerprints all over this week for a number of highly evolved and spiritually active Aries.
Interestingly, your moods might fluctuate this week: passionate, loving, enthusiastic and perhaps just occasionally a little disruptive and challenging. This should make you interesting company, or, perhaps, just a smidgin delightfully unpredictable! But don't panic because it's nothing to be concerned about unless your natal horoscope is outrageously out of step with the current planetary configurations.
Perhaps a good starting point might be for me to mention that weeks one, two, and three are characterized – made more memorable – by a common feature. A continuing thread, so to speak. Saturn is offering his wise guidance and council from afar. However, some Aries might find this irksome and perhaps a little bit of a downer. Sometimes life can become just a little too “real” and you want nothing more than to have a laugh and be jolly. Well, the good news is that Jupiter steps into Saturn's shoes next week and will do his best to lift your spirits. But until then I'd respectfully suggest that you consider ploughing the same furrow for the remainder of the week.
You are a wonderfully brave and resourceful individual. When the chips are down, you “rally the troops”, so to speak, and give a lead to any lost and alone stragglers. You are a tower of strength to others. “Inspirational” is a word that describes you. So continue fighting the good fight, although (between ourselves) I suspect it's all becoming a little boring and tedious.
Jupiter – the herald of good fortune – becomes a dominant feature in the astrological landscape. This is good news for all those who believe themselves to be down on their luck and getting nothing but the shitty end of the stick, so to speak. Yes! The tide is beginning to turn and many of you will have something big to celebrate. I've said it before, and I'm going to say it again: “you have a lot to be proud of” But, regrettably, that won't stop a lot of my Aries friends focusing on the things that have gone wrong.
Please give yourselves a break. You deserve it. You are not all bad; indeed, far from it. Please remember: you have made life worth living for many people. It's time to turn your compassion and understanding upon yourself. Stop being cruel to yourself. Please acknowledge the fact that good deeds emanate from you – like heat radiates from the Sun. Consequently, you deserve only the best.
A journey of ten thousand miles begins with a single step. Take it now – internally – by starting to believe in yourself. Move out from the shadows. You deserve a life. Begin to live it!!
Well, I think I have said what is important for you to hear. But before I go, may wish you all the best for the future. Remember, the first day of your new life starts tomorrow! As always, “God Bless and Protect”.
