Synopsis
If you' have lost a child, which is one of the greatest sorrows we as individuals can ever suffer, the need to understand what has happened to him or her can become overwhelming. Are they dead and gone forever? Or is your child still with you, trying to make contact?
At the beginning of the 1st Gulf War, a group of like-minded people got together and were asked by a guide if they would act as a psychic rescue group. The sessions were recorded on audio-tapes by survival investigator, (magistrate, ex-serving R.A.F. officer and ex-schoolmaster), Michael Evans.
"At first the work was done by the mediums working clairvoyantly" Michael tells us, "But soon the ability to work in trance developed so that the spirits who were brought to be helped could use the vocal chords of the mediums to speak directly to the group, bringing through their personality, and often their own regional accent, as they asked for help."
During the conflict this team helped over 30 servicemen who had died, to leave the confusion of the battlefield and move into the light; after the conflict ended, the group’s organising guide, Lee Ping, asked them to continue the work, rescuing many other troubled souls. Then on the 19th of August 1993, a new voice came through. "At first we heard two audible sniffs of the kind that one hears from little boys who have never known the use of a handkerchief. Then a lively cockney accent was heard."
Ten-year old Billy, died in a joy-riding crash. He had little education and even less understanding of what had happened to him since the crash. He said, “My Mum won’t talk to me, I've bee
n going back there to find something to eat but every time I ask her for something she wouldn't give me nothing. Don't understand it! I try to go and get it and somehow it seems to go away from me."
The group helped the intelligent, but puzzled, spirit orphan, to come to terms with his situation, and in return, Billy adopted the group. This fascinating read cover the fourteen visits that Billy made to the circle, saying how he was getting on. Each time he gave an update on his progress and development within the Children’s sphere. Billy became an adept communicator, and successfully carried on with his education in spirit, as he matured. The one-time naughty street urchin developed into a loving young soul who helped comfort the children who passed in the Dunblane massacre, and trained to do rescue work himself.
Although primarily for people with an interest in survival this book is a very reassuring read for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child and who can now realize that they will meet that child again one day.
Review
By Terri Waller
This charming little book tells the story of how a spirit rescue group in Exeter, which was originally set up to help Gulf War fatalities find their way home, was visited by Billy. Through the trance mediums of the group Billy tells his story. As a young boy, one day Billy had gone for a joy ride with his older friends and ended up losing his earthy life. Billy revisits the group from the spirit world over a period of four of our earthly years to tell the story of his progress in the spirit realms.
This book, whilst simple, is a compelling read and one I’m sure all would enjoy. I think it would be interesting for those of you who do not have any knowledge of life after death and especially poignant for anyone who has had a child die in similar circumstances.
