You need to look outside the box where death is concerned, and by this I mean the death of your physical body you're using, isn't the death of you. You're not a physical being, you are energy, loving energy, an energy that is connected to a greater universal divine energy and when a loved one seems to die his or her spirit rejoins their soul which is connected to that energy. It is only their physical body that ceases to be. I know it's hard to understand or accept, but your family and friends are always a part of you and are always connected to you not just because they were your Mother or Brother or even your dog, but they are connected to you like the trees and the birds and the air you breathe. They are connected to you because of that divine source that divine energy you call 'God', so you are never apart, please take comfort in this knowledge that I share. By all means mourn the physical loss as that is a part of growth and progression in this life. Take solace in knowing that your loved one's spirit and soul are connected to you and the life around you.
We are surrounded by death all the time. Don't be mistaken by thinking that it's just physical things such as animals, plants, and humans that die, as the next second arrives the previous one dies, as you grow older your youth dies, death is the most natural thing and you should remember that tomorrow you could die, but your alive at the moment. Just imagine as you finish reading these words BANG!!! Your dead, now think about that for a few minutes, close your eyes and see it, really feel that you no longer exist in the physical. Now start living. Start living a more loving, compassionate life, don't stress over the mundane it’s a waste of your time and energy, put that energy to better use like helping the sick. Really start to experience life look at the trees for what they really are, hear the birds sing and feel the wind blow, If you’re lucky you may be able to smell the fresh pine of the trees or hear the beautiful songs of the birds, because remember not everyone can see, smell, and hear. Don’t take anything for granted in this life of yours.
If death was never to occur then you wouldn't be able to progress and worse of all if time and situations didn't die then think of all the stress in your lives I'm sure you want those moments to die. I hear you say to yourself, 'but I want the good times to remain'. True it would be nice to keep the good times and you do in your memories. I know that's not what you want to hear and I know it's hard to think outside the human mind, but you are not this body you are soul, you will eventually be a part of all the good times and bad times that you have experienced in all your life times, but they will all be viewed upon as good times, because your soul knows. As you read these words your view and understanding of death may change (die).
So please keep exploring the endless opportunities that are out there for you, and don't be afraid to try.
