Would you like to get away from your usual routine, responsibilities and have some time to focus just on yourself? I used to feel this way when the children were teens and the house here was very busy and loud. I spent many a time wanting to go somewhere by myself to relax, have some time for myself rather than always helping others, investigate who I was and what I wanted.
My ideal was to be somewhere where I was not on my own, where I could relax and do what I wanted without anyone demanding anything from me. To be able to choose exactly what I wanted to do without feeling guilty for being selfish for thinking just about me.
I also wanted some personal growth so I came home feeling more sure of where my life was heading. I needed someone to talk to, bounce ideas off and help to work through those emotions that we all have, especially in transitions in our lives for example during relationship difficulties, children leaving home, maybe the death of someone close.
So, when my family left home, and I acquired some free bedrooms I decided I would like to offer this experience to others who might need this. To have people like you stay for a few days with me as your support system, to help guide you, ready to listen and ask relevant questions that would help you understand yourself better.
I have been a therapist for 30 years and can offer all sorts of emotional support and ways to explore and release emotions. I adore meditation, mindfulness therapy, self-enquiry, and can use my other therapies to help you go deeper with whatever you have to release or explore.
Life gives us all sorts of challenges along the way and goals that never seem to appear and within us we have the answers if we can access the knowing we all have. It helps to have someone neutral at your side to assist in your journey of self-discovery now and again.
What I offer is that space, the support to help you find what you are looking for, therapy as and when needed in the moment, a place to let go and relax in to facilitate healing, clear guidance in the way forward, and to help you go home with more tools and a positive focus.
As every guest has different preferences, each visit is unique to you. You can come as a day guest and go home at night. You can stay in one of the guest rooms so you have 24 hours a day contemplation and relaxation time. We all have things we dislike or need more than others, and all this will be taken into account when you enquire about your retreat booking. The more honest you are with your requirements or fears the more I can match your retreat to you. I look forward to all enquiries by email [email protected]
